When We Are Closed

If you telephone the surgery when it is closed you will hear a recorded message. Please listen carefully as the message will give another telephone number for you to ring.

If you need a doctor for an urgent medical consultation in the evenings, weekends or on bank holidays, telephone NHS 111. Calls to NHS 111 are answered by fully trained NHS 111 health advisers, supported by clinical advisors who are experienced nurses and paramedics. They use a clinical assessment system called NHS Pathways to assess callers needs safely and effectively and direct them to the right NHS service.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

Training Days

We currently close once a month on a Wednesday afternoon for staff training. We will close at 12:30.
